The Centre for Digital Media is a mixed-use academic and student housing building along Vancouver’s Great Northern Way. The building was designed to reduce solar heat gain, promote low-carbon travel and include sustainable design features such as a green roof for stormwater management, daylighting, low-flow water fixtures, and a ground-source heat pump. During construction, the project diverted 98% of waste from landfill. Light House provided strategic oversight and project management services, achieving LEED 2009 New Construction Gold.
