Project Description
Light House led the sustainability vision for the Royal Oak BCGEU project in Burnaby, BC. The project comprises two towers on a shared podium with non-market housing, office space, childcare, café, and conference center, situated next to the Royal Oak Skytrain Station.
Light House ran a half-day workshop encompassing embodied carbon, waste, water, resilience, community enhancement, health + wellness, and design for disease control. The workshop’s summary report was included in the project’s rezoning submission, in line with both BCGEU and the City of Burnaby’s sustainability objectives.
