Project Description
546 West 13th is an innovative redevelopment project by Purpose Driven Development for the Soroptimist International of Vancouver. The project aims to provide affordable rental homes for workforce women, senior women, and women-led families, addressing the gap in women’s housing needs. The project, lead entirely by a team of highly qualified women, is the first of its kind in Western Canada.
Light House developed the project’s sustainability strategy through a facilitated visioning session, and are conducting an embodied emission analysis to ensure the energy-efficient and reduces GHG emissions. Currently, the team is overseeing the required sustainability submissions for the City of Vancouver’s Green Buildings Policy for Rezoning during Design & Construction.
